Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
Seeking a Travel Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week assignment at a busy imaging unit. The role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures independently in a small, family-like environment with modern equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform abdominal, pelvic, and lower extremity duplex scans (venous and arterial).
• Operate GE and Phillips ultrasound equipment with confidence and precision.
• Maintain adherence to unit policies, safety standards, and documentation protocols.
• Communicate effectively with RNs, MDs, and oncoming staff during hand-offs.
• Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 6 months’ current sonographer experience.
• Hold an active ARDMS and RVT certification, and state licensure for Colorado.
• Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal head imaging (preferred).
• Display confident communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Be BLS certified and comfortable with variable workload shifts.
