**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Yard Associate/Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory in our outdoor yard facilities, ensuring efficient and safe operation of forklifts. This role is essential in maintaining the organization, accuracy, and movement of our materials, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Operate forklifts and other machinery to move and organize materials in the yard.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety in handling goods.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain detailed records of stock levels.
- Ensure the yard is kept clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Inspect machinery daily to ensure it is in safe, working condition, and report any maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to facilitate an efficient workflow.
- Assist with other tasks as required, such as packaging and shipping preparations.
- Utilize inventory management software to track inventory and assist with reordering when necessary.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional certifications in forklift operation preferred.
- Proven experience as a forklift operator with a solid understanding of inventory management.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, with a focus on safety.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physically able to perform the obligations of the role, including lifting and moving heavy items.
