How you'll contribute: Evaluates and treats patient populations for swallowing, speech-language and therapy needs.Essential FunctionsPerforms and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.Designs and implements a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient and family.Educates and counsels patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services.Supervises activities of clinical fellows, students, and other support personnel.

Qualifications and requirements: Education: Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology RequiredLicenses: Licensed Speech TherapistCertifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hireRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
