Overview
Radiology Tech (X-Ray) for a travel temporary assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 6-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Evening shift, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Work setting is a hospital environment. Assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

- EMR: EPIC and Sectra used for orders, imaging, and documentation
- Equipment exposure: GE, Philips, and CareStream radiologic and fluoroscopic systems
- Floating: Assigned to a department by day but may float to other areas as needed

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures, operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment to capture clinically useful images
- Evaluate images for technical quality, ensure proper patient positioning, and adjust exposure factors to optimize diagnostic yield
- Execute radiography across ED, inpatient services, and OR; perform portable radiographs and support timely clinical decisions
- Utilize EPIC and Sectra EMR workflows for orders, image labeling, documentation, and result transmission
- Collaborate with radiology team, participate in student instruction and competency check-offs as assigned
- Prepare for pediatric and neonatal imaging, maintain radiation safety protocols, and comply with mask-fit requirements

Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiography and Basic Life Support (BLS) credentials; graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved program
- Minimum 1 year Level 1 trauma experience or 2–3 years at a large trauma Level 2 facility
- EPIC and Sectra EMR experience or willingness to train; able to operate in ED, inpatient, and OR settings
- Comfortable with portable imaging and pediatric/neonatal protocols; able to float to accommodate department needs
- Compliance with all facility and safety requirements related to radiologic procedures and infection control
