Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Provide respiratory care for patients from neonate to geriatric populations including inpatient, ICU, ER, deliveries, and open heart procedures
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• Required to draw ABGs, wean and extubate patients, manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizer treatments
• Preferred skills include placing arterial lines and intubation
• NICU experience required including C-sections and infant ventilators, must be comfortable with deliveries
• Float throughout facility including emergency room as needed
• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend
• Holiday expectations include 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
• No on-call responsibilities
• Up to 7 days time off can be approved
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, CRT or RRT
• Work with EPIC charting system, Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Puritan Bennett and Hamilton ventilators
• Any color scrubs acceptable
• Free parking available in designated areas
• 1-2 shift orientation based on comfort level
• Support available from code blue/RRT team and other respiratory therapists

Facility:

This medical center is a 132-bed healthcare facility featuring a Level III Trauma Center, Level II NICU, and Primary Stroke Center designation. The facility provides comprehensive respiratory therapy services across all units with the exception of NICU, supporting a wide range of patient care needs from emergency services to specialized cardiac procedures and neonatal care.
