Work Environment

This position offers the opportunity to work onsite within our modern rehabilitation facility, which fosters a collaborative and patient-centered environment. Our team consists of skilled professionals, including two licensed Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), all committed to exceptional patient care. The facility also features dedicated spaces for strength training, functional rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercises, ensuring that our practitioners have the best tools at their disposal.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, efficiently identifying their objectives and needs to tailor individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a scheduled caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring thorough and focused care for each individual.
• Implement cost-effective and innovative treatment strategies to enhance patient mobility and range of motion, focusing on recovery without relying heavily on medications.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate comprehensive patient care, including consultations with physicians as needed.
• Develop and execute fitness and wellness programs tailored to promote healthy lifestyles among patients.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions that adapt to the evolving needs of patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Continuously monitor treatment outcomes and maintain accurate records to track patient progress and facilitate communication within the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Life Point Physical Therapy primarily serves a diverse clientele, including those recovering from post-surgical orthopedic procedures, sports injuries, and conditions such as arthritis, back pain, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our focus is not only on restoring movement but also empowering patients to embrace healthier lifestyles by improving their overall strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with a clean professional record free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Extensive knowledge of manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Experience working with WebPT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting will be considered advantageous. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, compassion, and excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues alike effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
