Zest Culinary Services is seeking a Cashier for our contract location in Jackson, MS-a dynamic, multi-use facility offering hotel, meeting, and dining services just north of I-220. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in hospitality but values a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. As the welcoming face of our dining area, you'll handle transactions and help ensure guests have a seamless and positive experience. Enjoy weekends and holidays off, with only 2-3 exceptions per year for special circumstances. Responsibilities
- Greet guests and deliver outstanding customer service
- Accurately operate the cash register/POS system
- Process cash and credit transactions and balance the drawer at the end of each shift
- Support kitchen and food prep tasks as needed
- Keep the cashier area and dining room clean and organized
- Follow ServSafe and company food safety standards
- Previous cashier or food service experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
