Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide care for patients requiring emergency attention. This role involves handling respiratory emergencies, behavioral health issues, general medical situations, trauma stabilization, sepsis, cardiac events, stroke, and other critical conditions in patients of all ages, including approximately 20% pediatric cases.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out CPR/codes and manage traumas
• Assist with bedside procedures
• Mix and administer medications, including cardiac drips and pressors
• Manage IVs, foley catheters, and NG tubes
• Perform patient triaging and ultrasound-guided IV insertions

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of trauma experience, 5+ years if first-time traveler
• Valid ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, PALS and NRP preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
