The position requires a charge nurse to oversee patient care and work collaboratively with students and new hires, supporting a culture of mentorship and teamwork. Job Details Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active VA or Compact License required at the time of submission; 2 years of relevant experience required. Schedule: 12-hour Day Shift (7 am 7 pm), minimum of 48 hours per week. Additional Information: The RN must be experienced in the specialty area, able to perform charge duties, and willing to work during major holidays if scheduled. Prior travel experience is required for all Centra positions. The position involves working in a teaching hospital environment with frequent interaction with students and new hires. All required RTO must be included in the submission packet, and the employer accepts approved declinations for Covid/Flu vaccinations. The assignment duration is approximately 20 weeks, with the possibility of extension; assignments can end with short notice due to census fluctuations.
