Lead Certified CMMC Assessor

Responsibilities Serve as the Lead Assessor on CMMC Level 2 certification assessments. Lead scoping, pre‑assessment readiness reviews, and finalization of the assessment plan. Direct evidence collection and validation across all 110 NIST SP 800‑171 Rev 2 security requirements. Make and defend final determinations for each requirement. Assign and supervise the work of Certified CMMC Assessors (CCAs). Author and review the final assessment report. Serve as the primary point of contact with the OSC. Ensure all assessment activities comply with the Cyber AB Code of Professional Conduct. Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen. Active Lead Certified CMMC Assessor (LCCA) certification in good standing. Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Tier 3 background investigation. Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, information systems, or a related field. Typically 7+ years of cybersecurity or information assurance experience. In‑depth knowledge of NIST SP 800‑171 Rev 2. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCP, or equivalent strongly preferred. Strong leadership, assessment report writing, and client‑facing communication skills.
