This role offers a balanced, lower-acuity practice environment with strong system support and flexible scheduling. *Position Highlights:* * Approximately 450–500 births per year * Lower-risk L&D population; high-risk cases transferred to SSM Health St. Mary's in Madison * Triage unit available (no dedicated OB/ED) * Level III NICU support within the system * Anesthesia available within 30 minutes * Flexible 10–12 hour shifts *Clinical Responsibilities:* * Manage labor and delivery for low to moderate-risk patients * Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, ectopic pregnancy management, and other essential OB/GYN procedures * Support triage evaluations and inpatient consults *Ideal Candidate:* * Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN * Skilled in full-scope obstetric and gynecologic procedures * Team-oriented and committed to high-quality, patient-centered care With care delivery sites in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin, SSM Health provides convenient access to high-quality community-based services as well as world-class academic medicine, clinical trials, and research studies.
