SAP TM Functional Consultant

job summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP TM Functional Consultant to drive the configuration and implementation of embedded SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) solutions. In this role, you will work closely with business process owners and technical teams to optimize transportation planning, freight settlement, and logistics integration. This is a full-time contract opportunity offering remote flexibility within the Pacific Time Zone.

responsibilities:

• Lead functional configuration and end-to-end delivery of embedded SAP S/4HANA TM modules.
• Design and implement solutions for transportation planning, charge management, freight order execution, and settlement.
• Partner with client leadership and process owners to translate business logistics requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Facilitate seamless integration between SAP TM, SAP EWM, and logistics business networks.

qualifications:
3-5+ years of hands-on functional experience in SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM).

Demonstrated expertise in freight order management, execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Green Card Holder) due to ITAR regulatory compliance.

Ability to work aligned with Pacific Time Zone hours and travel as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded TM (2020 version or newer).

Experience with SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L/LBN), Freight Collaboration (FC), or Global Track and Trace (GTT).

Background in integrating SAP TM with SAP EWM and inbound freight processes
