Details Hospital-based Emergency Department open 24/7, 365 days a year, serving approximately 14,000 patient visits annually 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36-hour guarantee per week Every other weekend required Holiday coverage required if scheduled/needed On-call requirements to be determined Requirements Active VT RN license or Compact required Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Current TNCC certification required Minimum 2 years of current ED experience in a hospital setting required Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 3 months of travel nursing experience preferred ED-specific skills checklist current within 1 year required for consideration One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required for consideration Must have personal vehicle Additional Information Responsible for screening patients upon arrival to determine severity and appropriate course of treatment Must work two designated holiday blocks if scheduled or needed, covering Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's periods along with the following weekends No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted and must be submitted at the time of profile submission; requests made after offer or during interview will not be approved Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantee are not available for this assignment American Traveler Job ID P-749514.
