PCU Registered Nurse (RN)

An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a prestigious healthcare team specializing in Neuro Progressive Care Unit. This position requires a dedicated and experienced professional to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neuro PCU.
• Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4 at night, with occasional assignments of 1:5.
• Float to other departments as needed, including overflow and emergency department holds.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in holiday shifts as required, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Epic EMR is highly desirable.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification is preferred.

Schedule

The position requires a commitment to work 84 hours biweekly, with a 72-hour guarantee, in a day shift schedule.
