Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides therapy and rehabilitation services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLP collaborates with educators and families to support student development and improve communication skills, ensuring compliance with educational and clinical standards. This position requires appropriate licensure and certification to deliver effective in-person therapy services within the school setting. Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals.
- Provide direct, in-person speech and language therapy to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as required.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant educational and clinical regulations and standards.
- Valid Colorado teaching certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Ability to provide in-person speech therapy services.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with school-age populations preferred.
- Experience with caseload management in educational settings.
- Familiarity with elementary, middle, and high school student populations.
- Additional certifications or training in pediatric speech and language therapy.
- In-person service delivery is required.
- Work within a school environment serving diverse student populations.
- Maintain adherence to school district policies and educational regulations.
- Full-time position with 37.5 hours per week.
- Work schedule aligned with the school calendar for the 2026/2027 school year.
- Specific daily hours and caseload to be determined.
