Radiologic Technologist - Mammography

Location: California

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, with 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience in performing 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, and other related imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of radiologic procedures, primarily focused on mammography.
• Ensure thorough patient preparation and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) and Mammography (ARRT M).
• Current and valid California state license.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Familiarity with needle localization and stereotactic biopsy procedures is a plus.
