Director of Plumbing Operations

Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical is looking for a true operations leader to take ownership of our growing Plumbing Division.

This is an opportunity to lead an already successful department and help take it to the next level. We're looking for someone who enjoys developing people, driving accountability, improving operations, and building strong teams.

Our Plumbing Division includes Service, Drain, and Install operations with a team of 16+ employees, plus a dedicated Plumbing Field Supervisor and Plumbing Job Coordinator. The department has strong momentum and continues to grow.This role is ideal for someone who wants the challenge of running a busy operation while still having the support of a strong leadership team and an established company behind them.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Leading and developing a high-performing Plumbing team across Service, Drain, and Install
• Working closely with the Plumbing Field Supervisor, Plumbing Job Coordinator, and support teams to improve communication and efficiency
• Driving departmental performance through accountability, coaching, KPI management, and operational leadership
• Improving operational processes, profitability, and overall customer experience
• Coaching and developing team members while helping build future leaders within the department
• Monitoring departmental performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Maintaining a strong culture focused on professionalism, teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Collaborating with ownership and leadership on department goals, growth initiatives, and future planning
• Helping prepare the department for continued growth and expansion

What We're Looking For:

• Strong leadership experience with the ability to build accountability, develop people, and lead teams effectively
• Experience managing team performance, KPIs, and operational goals
• Someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and leads from the front
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
• Positive attitude with a strong team mentality
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Products

• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a background screening
