Traveling Construction Superintendent (USACE/NAVFAC Projects)

Job Description Job Description Location: Nationwide (Travel Required) Travel: 100% We are seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to support federal construction projects across the U.S., primarily with USACE and NAVFAC contracts. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can step into active projects, maintain momentum, and ensure full compliance with federal standards while managing field operations from start to finish. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality projects on schedule, while maintaining strict adherence to safety, quality control, and government regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all on-site construction activities for federal projects Coordinate subcontractors, field staff, and project stakeholders to ensure efficient execution Maintain project schedules, budgets, and daily reporting Ensure compliance with USACE/NAVFAC standards and project specifications Enforce EM 385-1-1 safety regulations and site safety protocols Collaborate with Quality Control and Project Management teams to maintain compliance and performance Conduct site inspections, manage RFIs, and support project closeout processes Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project execution What We’re Looking For Minimum 10+ years of experience on federal construction projects valued at $20M or more Proven experience working on USACE and/or NAVFAC projects Active CQM-C Certification (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) Strong knowledge of EM 385-1-1 safety requirements Demonstrated ability to manage field operations on complex, multi-phase projects Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to mobilize quickly and adapt to different project sites nationwide Willingness to travel extensively across the U.S. Why Join Us?
