TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74104!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year of previous travel experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Previous charge experience, experience with a patient ratio of 6 Description: This position is for a medical surgical unit focusing on renal patients. The unit has a capacity of 24 beds. Nurses will be responsible for providing care to adults and geriatric patients. The daily census is approximately 24 patients. The patient diagnoses include ESRD, urology, AKI, diabetic complications, and various medical-surgical diagnoses. Travelers will need to float to similar units as required based on facility needs. Previous experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Isolation precautions and PPE knowledge are important skills for this role. Responsibilities include peripheral line care and management, as well as non-invasive airway management. Every other weekend coverage is required. Interdisciplinary support is provided by multiple teams including IV, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and more.
