Description – What You'll Do

• Execute a variety of routine and advanced laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize results to ensure precision, rectify discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for further testing, as needed.
• Document all procedures thoroughly, mentor new recruits, and uphold the highest lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
