Location: South Brooklyn, NY
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day/Night Shift
Pay Rate:

• Local: $65–$68/Hour (Based on Experience)
• Travel: $69–$72/Hour (Based on Experience)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to critically ill patients. The RN will monitor patient conditions, perform critical care interventions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
• Provide care for patients requiring conscious sedation.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow infection control and safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care/ICU experience required .
• Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience required .
• Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience required .
• Associate Degree in Nursing ( ASN/ADN ) from an accredited nursing program.
• Active New York State RN License required.
• Primary Source Verification of NYS RN License and Registration required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, and patient-care skills.
