Store Manager

Role Overview: Responsible for managing store operations, staff, and processes to ensure efficient daily functioning. Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws. Lead employee performance management, conduct evaluations, and address performance gaps. Oversee store opening and closing, maintain safety, security, and operational standards. Analyze financial statements to identify business trends, control expenses, and optimize inventory levels. Ensure merchandise presentation, stock replenishment, and inventory accuracy. Maintain cash handling integrity, security procedures, and store safety protocols. Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and documentation requirements. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret operational documents, perform mathematical calculations, and manage inventory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with knowledge of recruiting and legal compliance. Organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and basic retail principles. Preferred high school diploma; management experience in retail is advantageous. Some locations may prioritize bilingual (Spanish) skills. Physical & Work Environment: Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Occasional climbing, driving, and exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
