Role: Electronics Assembly Technician.

Location: Ossining, NY



Job Description:
We design and build robotic tools for civil engineering, construction, energy, and defense applications. We build a substantial number of electrical systems in-house.


A large part of this work is to support the development and manufacturing of robotic tooling that is deployed on client job sites.


We are looking for technicians who have a strong interest in building electronic and optical hardware, have a keen eye for small physical details, and good intuition using testing instrumentation.



Responsibilities:
Some job responsibilities include:

• Small-batch PCB assembly and soldering with surface mount and thru-hole components.
• Executing and documenting small-batch PCB and whole-system tests.
• Managing electrical component inventory.
• Troubleshooting equipment failures.
• Assembly jig and tooling design and fabrication (3D printing, laser cutting, laser welding).
• Electrical enclosure punch out and assembly.
