We are globally responsible for the electrical design and technical requirements of semiconductor-based HVDC and SVC valves, as well as advanced current measurement solutions for HVDC applications.HVDC valves are critical components used to convert AC to DC (and vice versa), enabling long-distance and high-capacity power transmission. SVC valves are used to support and stabilize AC power systems. In addition, we design digital optical instrument transformers—state-of-the-art, compact current measurement devices tailored for HVDC systems. These are used across the HVDC system to protect valves against overcurrent and earth faults, as well as for harmonic measurement and filter supervision.Our department in Sweden consists of approximately 45 highly skilled engineers and managers, and we work in close collaboration with our design teams in India and China.
