Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct individualized assessments and evaluations to inform therapy strategies tailored to each client's unique needs.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, promoting overall mental health and emotional wellness.

  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, adapting your approach based on the client and treatment goals.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and better patient outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records while observing all relevant legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client base, including adolescents, families, couples, and individuals from varied backgrounds and experiences. Special attention will be given to those seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance misuse. Your expertise and compassionate approach will help clients navigate challenges and achieve their personal goals, fostering a sense of empowerment and self-worth.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • \n
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, addressing a variety of mental health issues.

  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practices.
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling rapport-building with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 110,000, complemented by performance-based bonuses. We also provide a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
