Records Management Specialist

Records Management SpecialistWe are recruiting for a Records Management Specialist to support the Information Governance team in a law firm office in Atlanta.This role is a strong fit for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, service-minded, and comfortable working with both physical records and information tracking systems. You will help attorneys, legal teams, and administrative staff manage client and firm information according to established processes and compliance standards.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate records for onsite files, containers, barcodes, and storage locationsTrack and update information within the firm's records management systemProcess requests from attorneys, legal teams, and administrative staffSupport physical file transfers related to client matter movementReview, organize, index, and document physical records according to firm standardsAssist with records retention, disposition, and destruction workflowsProvide activity metrics and reporting related to records managementHelp support training for office personnel on records and information proceduresWork with Information Governance leadership and team members to improve office processesAssist with additional information management projects as neededRequirements:Bachelor's degree or professional services experience in an office, legal, administrative, or records-related roleStrong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience with information management, records management, or legal records is preferredHigh attention to detail with strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently while also supporting a collaborative team environmentProfessional communication skills and a customer-service mindsetComfortable working with attorneys, staff, and teams across multiple officesThis is a great opportunity to build or advance a career in legal information management with a well-established professional services team.
