Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be part of the Regulatory Compliance Department supporting Surveillance and Data Analysis Teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Business Analyst with AI/LLM (No C2C) Location: Rockville, Maryland Pay Range: $80-84/hr depending on years of experience What's the Job? Conduct moderate-to-high complexity analysis of automated surveillance systems to detect potential regulatory violations. Understand, validate, enhance, and support surveillance patterns across multiple asset classes and regulatory domains. Serve as a bridge between regulatory requirements and technical implementation, ensuring accurate and defensible results. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and prototype solutions to address business challenges. Manage the implementation of prototypes into production environments, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 2+ years of experience in data analysis or related fields. Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis. Strong SQL skills for large-scale data analysis on distributed platforms. Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for automation and data analysis. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and experience in leveraging them to solve complex business problems.
