Human Resource Coordinator

Job Summary A growing organization in San Diego, CA is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys supporting a wide range of human resources functions, including benefits administration, recruiting coordination, HRIS updates, employee communications, compliance documentation, and employee programs. The Human Resource Coordinator will work closely with HR leadership in a collaborative environment where accuracy, discretion, communication, and service are highly valued. Key Responsibilities Support the HR Manager with Open Enrollment, benefits administration, and employee benefits-related coordination. Assist with recruiting activities, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication. Maintain employee personnel files, medical files, HR documentation, and confidential records in compliance with company procedures. Perform HRIS data entry, updates, and employee information maintenance within ADP Workforce Now. Manage SharePoint postings, HR communications, employee recognition programs, and Disaster Recovery documentation. Assist with expatriate employee support, including family coordination, tax coordination, immigration processes, relocation communication, policy updates, and Japanese/English document translation as needed. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity. Salary range: $60,000 to $65,000 per year. Location: San Diego, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills Support benefits administration, Open Enrollment, HRIS updates, and HR documentation. Coordinate recruiting activities, employee communications, and HR program administration. Assist with expatriate employee matters, including immigration, tax coordination, relocation communication, and policy updates. Maintain accurate employee records, HR files, SharePoint postings, and compliance-related documentation. Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience required. Experience with HRIS data entry and employee record maintenance required. ADP Workforce Now experience strongly relevant. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple HR priorities. Clear communication skills and a service-oriented approach to supporting employees, candidates, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Japanese language fluency preferred but not required. Experience coordinating employee recognition programs or internal HR communications.
