Immediate Opening For A 2nd Shift Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

• Ability to set up machines with the needed materials. Load and unload materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
• Inspect and pack manufactured products in an efficient manner with regards to quality standards.
• Perform basic manufacturing processes by operating contingent line equipment.
• Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions including Work Orders, Specification Sheets, and Production Reporting.
• Fully understand that working overtime is a condition of employment.
• Will follow Company personnel and product safety requirements including standards such as those from SQF and internal GMPs.
• Operate Forklift equipment to move materials.
• Must follow proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with State and Federal laws.
• Additional duties may be deemed necessary by management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 1+ years of experience in a Production/Manufacturing environment required.
• Prior machine operation experience preferred.
• Previous Forklift experience required.
• Prior experience with quality processes and measurement devices preferred.
• Remain continuously within the normal work area, except for formal break times.
• Position requires regular, predictable, and punctual attendance and ability to work overtime as required, including weekends.
• Wear OSHA approved personal protective equipment (PPE) where required by Company policy or where necessary as dictated by safe practice.
• Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Requires prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
• Requires exposure to machines and chemicals.
• Requires eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and a normal range of hearing and vision (with or without correction)

Schedule: 2PM-10PM

Pay: $19-20 per hour
