Mortgage Loan Processor

Pay Range: $45,000 per year + per file bonus Sales Assistant/Processor for top producing branch in Downers Grove, IL This role is for someone who: Takes pride in getting things right the first time. Loves organization and clean documentation. Communicates quickly and professionally without creating confusion. Stays calm under pressure and handles urgency without chaos. Wants to be part of a team with high standards and long-term growth. Responsibilities: Support the preapproval process by gathering documentation, organizing files, and ensuring completeness. Assist with issuing preapprovals accurately and promptly. Prepare files for submission to processing and underwriting with clean documentation and clear notes. Promptly return calls, emails, and messages from borrowers and real estate agents. Maintain positive, professional, and helpful relationships with real estate partners. Provide clear status updates and set expectations, even when a full answer is not immediately available. Represent brand with professionalism, calm confidence, and urgency. Leverage technology to improve efficiency and reduce friction. Maintain strong time management skills and daily prioritization. Enter complete and accurate data into Encompass. Enter and maintain client contacts and communication logs. Qualifications/Requirements: 3+ years of mortgage processing experience and the ability to calculate income. Excellent data entry skills and PC skills. Knowledge of Encompass. Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail. Time Management skills and the ability to prioritize workload based on daily production.
