Description:
This position is for a travel ultrasound tech.
The shift is from 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.
The role involves general and vascular ultrasound procedures.
There are variable patient ratios with unit staffing support.
Staff will be required to work weekend shifts with rotating on-call shifts during the week and on rotating holidays.
The type of equipment used includes GE Logic 9.
Documentation will be handled using MEDITECH and Centricity PACS.
The unit performs all general and vascular ultrasound procedures, including ultrasound-guided interventions such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and abscess drainage.
Exceptional customer service is expected while adhering to department expectations.
The dress code requires black scrubs.
Policies and guidelines will be provided during department orientation.
Awards or recognition include ACR accreditation for vascular ultrasound.
