Senior Accountant

Highly visible role supporting executive leadership Opportunity to work directly with the Controller and CFO Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting, and operational reporting Collaborative team environment with growth potential Stable manufacturing company with strong industry reputation Opportunity to expand leadership responsibilities and cross-functional experience What You’ll Be Doing As the Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and helping drive accurate financial reporting across the business. Key responsibilities include: Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Oversee daily cash activity and bank reconciliations Assist with executive dashboards and operational reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts Support inventory accounting and participate in physical inventory processes Track capital expenditures and fixed assets, including depreciation schedules Calculate and reconcile monthly sales tax filings Partner cross-functionally with AP and AR teams to support overall accounting operations Assist with year-end audit preparation and external auditor requests Identify process improvements and support ongoing accounting initiatives What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred Current Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant experience Charts and reporting Experience with financial statement preparation, budgeting, and forecasting Understanding of inventory accounting concepts Willingness to support AP and AR functions as needed Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills CPA track or public accounting background is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Xplora Search Group
