Our commitment to service-enriched housing offers the quality of life they deserve.What You Will DoAs the Maintenance Technician, you will be the frontline of scheduled maintenance and property improvements in the complexes which our residents live. Responsible for the prompt and efficient preventive and corrective maintenance of the property to which assigned. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.This is an on-site position at independent living, apartment communities for seniors and residents with disabilities. Hours of operation of the property are 8-5 Monday through Friday.What's In It For You!A $500 Sign-On BonusMedical, Dental, and Vision insuranceVacation, Sick Leave, 8 Paid HolidaysShort Term Disability403-B Retirement planEmployee Assistance ProgramAsk about qualifying for FEDERAL STUDENT LOAN FORGIVENESSEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Performs general repairs such as repairing drywall, painting, repairing doors, and other building fixtures.Performs routine maintenance on building systems.Daily inspection of the property to ensure cleanliness, curb appeal, and proper function of all systems.Participate in On-Call rotation for after-hours emergencies.Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, apartment make-ready, and periodic inspections.Complete unit turnovers.Must engage respectfully with all residents and team members.QualificationsWhat You Will BringThis position occasionally requires long hours and possible evening, weekend and holiday work.
