Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg/Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med-Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience within the past 6 months License: Must have an active New York Single State RN license Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required Must-Have: Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills IV therapy and phlebotomy skills Nasal cannula and oxygen administration Knowledge of isolation precautions Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg/Telemetry. The position requires working the night shift from 19:00 to 07:00 for 13 weeks. Experience in acute care is essential, with a minimum of 1 year required. An active New York Single State RN license is mandatory. Candidates must possess current BLS and NIHSS certifications. The role includes monitoring cardiac patients and responding to emergencies. Experience in IV therapy and phlebotomy is necessary. Nasal cannula and oxygen administration skills are required. Candidates should be knowledgeable about isolation precautions. This position may require floating within the appropriate skill set. The nurse will work with patient ratios ranging from 1:5 to 1:7. Availability for every other weekend and holiday is expected. Charting experience in EPIC is a required skill. We welcome first-time travelers for this role.
