Details Acute care hospital CT department with 1 GE 64-slice scanner Traveler will float between CT and X-ray as needed Common studies include all CT scans, stroke, and trauma imaging Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS are used in this department 10‑hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with call required Weekend and holiday coverage required 13‑week contract Requirements Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required Experience with CT scan performance and IV contrast administration required X‑ray experience is a plus as the role includes coverage in that area Active BLS (AHA) certification required Active ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required — pending certifications will not be accepted Kansas state license required if applicable — pending licenses will not be accepted Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; a valid driver's license is required to verify permanent address 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Perform all CT scan types including stroke and trauma studies, and assist with X‑ray imaging IV contrast is administered by the technologist; IVs for contrast are started in the ED or inpatient unit — technologists are not required to start IVs Radiologist is typically in‑house Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Department orientation is provided by the facility; clinicians must be on‑site for the orientation week even if initial modules are completed remotely Traveler is responsible for providing their own radiation dosimetry badge (rad badge) No scrub color requirement Candidates who have been directly employed (full‑time, part‑time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year are not eligible — candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered Travelers hired into this Kansas facility are subject to a Float Radius Policy and are expected to secure housing that allows them to float within their assigned zone Pay & ID American Traveler Job ID #P-729131.
