Hotel Sales Manager About the Role Position Summary: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for increasing the hotel's business by conducting direct sales efforts, follow-up, and proper sales administration. Accountabilities: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts for both the Rooms department and the Food and Beverage Department. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the Catering sales segment Proactively solicit and manage a portfolio of accounts Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual sales goals Meet or exceed assigned quarterly food and beverage goals Meet or exceed assigned quarterly solicitation goals Partner with the General Manager on sales and marketing strategies Coordinate with Convention Services and Catering on groups involving rooms and Banquet revenue Maintain monthly incentive compensation worksheets and lead source analysis Education & Experience 2 years or more of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required High School Diploma or equivalent required College degree preferred Customer Service experience required, hotel experience preferred Strong communication and relationship building skills Experience with sales and catering systems Salary Requirements $80,000 - $90,000 USD Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
