Charge MRI Technologist - (3 days per Week) - Day Shift

Position Details Full‑Time Charge MRI Radiology Technologist (Day Shift) at Barnes Jewish Hospital (BJH) Center for Advanced Medicine, St. Louis, MO. Shift Day Shift: Monday, Thursday, Friday (6 am – 7:30 pm) No call or weekends 3 days a week Requirements Associate degree or trade school equivalency (or higher level of education) Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography – RT(R) and/or MR ARRT certification 2 years’ experience Experience Experience in leadership roles such as Lead Tech, Charge Tech, Senior Tech, Supervisor, or related positions Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required. Oversees shift operations, managing workflow, assignments, lunch schedules, and adjusting priorities to meet department needs. Enter/escalate IT and equipment tickets. Serves as the clinical resource and expert for technologists, providing problem‑solving, assistance with difficult exams, and mentoring. Acts as the clinical liaison between the team and supervisor; ensures proper communication and escalation of information. Maintains/orders necessary supplies for department needs.
