Join Our Team as a Prep Cook at TRYSeafood FuQuay! TRYSeafood FuQuay is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. If you enjoy working with food, staying organized, and helping a kitchen run smoothly, we’d love to hear from you! What You’ll Do As a Prep Cook, you’ll help prepare ingredients and keep the kitchen stocked and organized so our cooks can provide guests with fresh, high-quality meals. Your responsibilities will include: Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards. Wash, cut, chop, peel, portion, and season ingredients as needed. Prepare seafood, vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients for service. Properly label, date, store, and rotate prepared food and ingredients. Portion ingredients to maintain consistency and reduce food waste. Keep prep areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organized. Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift. Follow proper food-handling, sanitation, and food-safety procedures. Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties. Communicate with cooks and kitchen leadership about prep needs and inventory. Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. Assist other kitchen team members as needed. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is: Dependable and punctual. Hardworking and willing to learn. Organized and detail-oriented. Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen. Able to follow recipes and instructions. Able to work well with a team. Committed to cleanliness and food safety. Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry kitchen supplies as needed. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
