Infrastructure Cloud Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer in Wilmington, MA. Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and support scalable cloud infrastructure and platform services within Microsoft Azure
• Automate cloud deployments and infrastructure management using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools and best practices
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application delivery and platform updates
• Support containerized applications and orchestration platforms in cloud environments.
• Implement automation for provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows
• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and reliability through proactive alerting and observability solutions
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and architecture teams to deliver secure and reliable cloud services
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud and infrastructure issues across distributed systems
• Apply cloud governance, security, networking, and identity management standards
• Contribute to platform enhancements, operational excellence initiatives, and continuous process improvements
• Participate in on-call support and incident response activities for critical cloud services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles
• Strong experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Experience building and managing automated CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation tools
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance management tools in cloud environments
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms and multi-team environments
• Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or similar technologies
• Knowledge of containerization technologies and container orchestration platforms
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, identity management, and governance principles
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant cloud certifications are a plus
• Familiarity with AI/ML platforms, cloud-based analytics, or modern data technologies is a plus
• Knowledge of GitOps methodologies and cloud-native deployment practices preferred
