Tig Welder/ Fitter

(New Orleans, LA): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Daytime and Nighttime TIG Welder/Fitter for our fabrication shop. This position requires experience in both structural and pipe welding, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Essential Duties Perform TIG welding on structural steel and pipe in a fabrication shop environment Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols accurately Fit and assemble metal components to precise specifications Operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Requirements/Skills Proven experience with TIG welding on both structural and pipe applications Ability to pass weld tests as required Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings Experience with fitting and layout work Ability to work day or night shifts as needed Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Equal Opportunity Statement Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
