Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for assisting in the comprehensive care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEEs, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT, and Stress Tests
Maintain proficiency with Cath Lab equipment such as GE, IVUS, and VOLCANO

Requirements:

BLS and ACLS certification required for Cath Lab RNs and Techs
Minimum 2 years of experience in Cath Lab procedures and 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience
Valid KY Rad tech licensure required
