NCS is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our Pensacola operations. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the branch's daily operations, financial performance, project execution, business development, and team leadership.

Position Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Pensacola branch, including operations, sales, estimating, project management, customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee development. This role provides leadership and direction to office and field personnel while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Leadership & Operations

• Lead and manage all branch operations to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable performance.
• Establish strategic goals and implement initiatives that drive growth and operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing employees.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth and career development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.

Financial Management

• Manage branch profitability, budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement strategies to improve revenue and margins.
• Review project financial performance, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Approve estimates, contracts, purchase orders, and major expenditures.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and maximize profitability.

Business Development

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify new business opportunities within commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, municipal, and government markets.
• Support estimating and proposal development for competitive bids and negotiated projects.
• Represent NCS at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for market expansion and long-term growth.

Project Oversight

• Provide executive oversight of all branch projects from award through closeout.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Support Project Managers in resolving technical, contractual, and operational challenges.
• Review project schedules, staffing, procurement, and financial performance.
• Promote proactive communication between clients, field teams, vendors, and office staff.

Client Relations

• Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients and stakeholders.
• Build long-term partnerships through exceptional service and responsive communication.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while protecting the company's interests.
• Ensure every project reflects NCS's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in telecommunications, structured cabling, low-voltage systems, construction, or a related industry.
• Proven experience managing operations, personnel, budgets, and financial performance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated success developing client relationships and growing business.
• Experience overseeing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience managing structured cabling and low-voltage operations.
• Knowledge of BICSI standards, NEC, TIA/EIA, and industry best practices.
• Experience with federal, healthcare, education, municipal, industrial, or large commercial projects.

• Monday–Friday
• 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Occasional evenings or weekends as business needs require
