Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, prioritize, and provide nursing care to patients presenting with emergent and critical conditions.
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information within the electronic medical record.
• Provide patient and family education while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Follow all infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent Emergency Room experience required.
• EPIC experience is required and must be listed on your resume.
• Current CPR/BLS certification, if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong emergency and critical care experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
