Job Opportunity: Personal Care/Medication TechnicianWe are hiring personal care/medication technicians for our client in McCandless, PA. The certified med tech/caregiver role includes providing hands-on care while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment. The certified med techs must understand the medication administration cycle, including administration and documentation of medication, observation, reporting of changes, and storage of medication.Medication Technician DutiesReviews care plan for each residentDocuments forms as medications are givenAssists/observes medications and treatments for each resident using the medication observation recordMaintains confidentiality of all resident information including resident medicationRestocks medication cart after medication passesMaintains and cleans the medication roomCare GiverProvides companionship with the residentsAssists with mobility issues, helping residents get in and out of bed, wheelchair, etc.Helps with personal hygiene (i.e. brushing teeth, toileting, bathing)Assists with all daily activities, based on the resident’s limitations and needs
