License: Active state license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(BD), and ARRT(R)


Must-Have:
Cath Lab experience is mandatory.
Candidates must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab diagnostic and interventional procedures.
First-time travelers are not accepted.


Description:
Very busy Cath Lab environment.
Must be willing to stay until all cases are completed.
Flexibility in scheduling is required.
Weekend shifts are expected once a month.
Call requirements include 2 weekday nights and weekend call every 4-5 weeks.
Call teams rotate every 12 hours from first to second call.
No minimum case load is required.
The average daily census is between 35-45 patients.
Staffing ratios are 1:1.
Patient diagnoses include adult cardiology and structural cardiology.
Special procedures include left heart catheterizations, right heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, chronic total occlusions, and more.
Familiarity with special equipment such as Impella, IABP, ECMO, and IVUS is necessary.
The Cath Lab utilizes electronic health records for charting.
References from two managers or charge nurses within the past two years are required.
Candidates must possess a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility.
Travel experience is required.
Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Candidates must hold relevant certifications through the American Heart Association.
