What You ll Do

• Provide comprehensive care across multiple disciplines at a busy community hospital
• Manage a diverse patient population, including inpatient and outpatient cases
• Collaborate with a team of physicians, including OB residents, hospitalists, and surgical staff
• Assist with managing OB triage and labor/delivery services
• Participate in hospital initiatives such as NICU care and surgical procedures, including robotic surgery
• Contribute to a supportive and efficient healthcare environment with a focus on quality patient outcomes
• Maintain documentation, adhere to hospital policies, and support team-based care

What You Need

• Active Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Board certification or eligibility in family medicine, internal medicine, or related specialty
• At least 1 year of provider experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting

About the Assignment
This role is based at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, Indiana, a renowned medical facility equipped with surgical robots, a Level III NICU, and an LDRP model for labor/delivery. The practice consists of three fellow generalist physicians, supported by a hospitalist. The OB triage and inpatient management are facilitated by a Family Medicine residency program, providing excellent educational support and teamwork.
