Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor & Delivery unit, managing varying patient ratios including 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 assignments
• Monitor and assess laboring patients throughout all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
• Deliver post-partum care in accordance with unit protocols and evidence-based practice standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a Joint Commission Accredited, Level 3 NICU teaching hospital environment
• Float to other units or facilities as required within the scope of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Demonstrated post-partum nursing experience
• Ability to meet float requirements as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a teaching hospital or high-acuity obstetric setting
• Familiarity with Level 3 NICU support and interdisciplinary perinatal care teams
