Licensed Clinician PositionLicensed Clinician needed in Brooklyn. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday at a specified Client Field Offices. Work hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, with availability for after-hour consultation. Salary: $72,000-$75,000 per year plus benefits.OverviewThe full-time Clinician provides direct clinical services and clinical guidance, training, and support to a Client Child Protective Services team. The clinician works collaboratively with the CPS team, providing feedback on a family's mental health needs, assisting with referrals for subsequent mental health treatment and providing warm handoffs to community based providers. This position requires daily in-person presence at an Client field office in Brooklyn or in the community as needed. Occasional travel to other agency sites or meetings may also be required.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct clinical work to families referred to Child Protective Services, including assessment of needsActively participate in planning conferences, acting as mental health expertEnsure that internal and external referrals are individualized and tailored to meet families' needs, working collaboratively with our Access and Referral DepartmentEnsure that warm handoffs occur in making referralsFacilitate trainings for the clinical team and the Client CPS teamParticipate in all relevant internal and external meetingsProvide after hour coverage for consultation, as neededOther related duties as assigned by supervisor.QualificationsMust have an active Clinical License (LMSW, LMFC, LCAT, LMHC) (Limited Permit is not currently accepted). Experience/expertise in mental health diagnostics. Experience and comfort with Evidence Based Models and multiple assessment measures. Meaningful commitment to practicing from a healing-centered, family-driven, anti-oppressive stance. Highly organized, self-motivated worker who can easily manage competing demands. Creative problem-solver who anticipates challenges and seizes opportunities for collaboration. Familiarity with Connections. Authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to travel to other sites (if required). Ability to travel and work in Client field office in Brooklyn. Ability to travel within the community.
