Front Receptionist needed in busy Rehab Services department. Day shift - 5 days a week/8-hour day. Performs clerical duties that maintain efficient record keeping of the department, as well as other related duties as needed. Assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as required.
Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the quality of patient care and to perform all responsibilities as a clerk with utmost quality.
- Receives patients at front desk reception area
- Checks patient schedule daily and notes additions
- Schedules patients for PT/OT
- Answers telephone in professional manner and as necessary follows through on calls
- Makes necessary telephone calls as requested by Physicians and Department Administration
- High School graduate
- Basic typing skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- One year of clerical experience, preferably medical, and/or equivalent applicable experience
