Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language services in a vibrant K-12 setting for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple full-time opportunities are available for enthusiastic, collaborative Speech-Language Pathologists to support school communities near Poulsbo, WA. Both traditional full-time (37.5 hours weekly) and slightly reduced full-time (.7 appointment) schedules are open. This role is in-person only, working directly with diverse caseloads across elementary through high school students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active ESA certification and current Washington State SLP license are required
• Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI prior to assignment
• CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA strongly preferred
• Previous experience working in school-based settings with K-12 students
• Well-versed in both assessment and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders within educational frameworks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy tailored to student IEP goals
• Conduct screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and progress monitoring for students with varying caseloads (typically between 48-60)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, teachers, and parents to support student success
• Develop, implement, and document individualized education plans
• Attend IEP meetings, staffings, and professional development activities as required
• Maintain organized records complying with state and district guidelines
